Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to recruit to a Clinical Lead post (Band 6) position on Cherry Ward based within the mental health inpatient unit at Bowmere Hospital, Countess of Chester Health Park, Chester. Cherry Ward is an 11 bedded ward and provides a therapeutic environment for older adult service users with an organic diagnosis who require inpatient care.

You will be a strong Nurse Leader and will join an established multidisciplinary team (MDT) including Occupational Therapists and Medical staff. You will support the Ward Manager in delivering a high quality Mental Health Service. You will provide clinical leadership within the ward team to promote a high standard of patient care. Provide management support, deputising for the Ward Manager in their absence.

It is essential that you have first level registration (RMN), worked for at least 2 years in a Staff Nurse Role (Band 5) and have an interest in acute mental health.
