We are seeking to appoint a Clinical Psychologist to work within the Rehabilitation and Recovery Services. The Rehabilitation and Recovery Service consists of two high dependency wards (one male ward, one male and female ward).
We are looking for applicants who have experience of working with people with mental health difficulties (including those who have acute experiences and/or risk histories) within a high intensity setting who can demonstrate enthusiasm, compassion and optimism for the recovery of the client group. The successful applicant will provide psychological leadership with the support of other colleagues for the service and enhance the psychological care of service users, providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions, whilst working alongside an integrated enthusiastic and innovative multi-disciplinary staff teams.
There will be close links to the other Clinical Psychologists working in the Rehabilitation and Recovery Services and wider Clinical Psychology services across the Trust .
Salary: Band 8A (or band 7 rising to an 8A after successful completion of 2 year training- perceptorship)
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
